All kinds of things cross our desks that have, in one way or another, a connection to mushrooms, and we pass along an occasional and select few to you, our readers, when we think they may be of interest. So it was that when we saw these fanciful and imaginative art prints, done by New Jersey artist Nicole Denise, we thought you’d enjoy them as well. They’re not strictly of, or even about mushrooms, but fungi are such a prominent element in many of them that they can hardly be ignored.
The boxed set is bursting with color
and whimsical images.
For those of us who’ve attained a certain advanced age - or for those well-steeped in the traditions and history of classic rock of the late sixties and early seventies, they can’t help but remind us a bit of San Francisco, Haight Ashbury, flower power and the Summer of Love. We like them a lot, and think you will, too.
They come in boxed sets of 16 prints - 11” x 14.5” - and are available for $30.00 plus S & H through Nicole's website: www.nicoledenisedesigns.com.
